Office complex in the heart of the Colombo – June 2020
Our Sri Lanka Dealer Brown & Co PLC secured another synchronizing project in July 2019 with Macksons Development (Pvt) Ltd for their new office complex in the heart of the Colombo.
The project consist of 250kVA & 455kVA Generator sets synchronized with room sound proofing to reduce the noise to 65dBA @ 1 mtr away from the generator room.
The specialty of this project is that the generators are placed in the 3rd & 4th floors of the building just below the office complex making the impotency of reduced sound levels from the generator sets.
The generators were to be delivered in April 2020 where the project got affected by the COVID-19 pandemic which resulted in delaying the work by two months as the civil construction of the complex was halted.
Soon as the lockdown was lifted in Colombo Browns commenced the work at site and delivered the generator sets to the site. The 455kVA was placed in the 04th floor of the building and the 250kVA placed in the 03rd floor.
